Terms of use

This is an English translation for convenience; if there is any difference, the Albanian version prevails.

By using TopMarket.al (the website and the app), you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

TopMarket is a classifieds platform where users publish and find cars, property, jobs, products and services. We are not a party to agreements between users: sales, rentals and hiring take place directly between them.

2. Account

  • You must be over 18.
  • Your account details must be true and up to date.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens in your account; do not share your password.
  • You can delete your account at any time from “My profile”.

3. Listing rules

  • A listing must be genuine, in the right category, with the real price and with photos you have the right to use.
  • One listing per item; do not post the same listing several times.
  • Prohibited: illegal goods or services, weapons and ammunition, drugs and prescription medicines, counterfeit or stolen goods, adult content, protected animals, official documents, pyramid schemes and any fraudulent listing.
  • Job listings must be for real jobs and may not ask applicants for payment.
  • Discrimination, offensive language and publishing other people's personal data without permission are prohibited.

4. Moderation

We may review, recategorize, deactivate or delete listings that break these terms, and suspend accounts that repeatedly break them. Any user can report a listing with the “Report listing” button.

5. Agencies and agents

Agencies and agents may have a public profile on TopMarket. We may create the profile based on their published listings and send them an invitation to take over its management. The owner can take over the profile, change it or request its deletion at any time.

6. Verification

The “Verified” badge shows that we have checked a user's identity document. It is not a guarantee of their listings or their behavior; keep following the safety tips.

7. Your content

The content you publish remains yours. By publishing it, you give us a free, non-exclusive license to display, adapt (e.g. photo sizes) and promote it within TopMarket and on our channels for as long as the listing is active.

8. Transaction safety

Meet in public places, see the product before paying, check the documents and do not pay in advance. TopMarket does not hold money on behalf of users and will never ask for card details or codes through messages.

9. Paid services

Some services, such as Premium listings, may be paid. The price and duration are shown before payment. Payments for services already provided are not refunded, except where required by law.

10. Liability

We provide the service “as is”. We are not responsible for the accuracy of listings, the quality of products or the behavior of users, nor for damages arising from agreements between them. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited under the law.

11. Personal data

How we process your data is explained in the Privacy policy.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date is shown at the top. These terms are governed by Albanian law, and the courts of Tirana have jurisdiction over disputes.
